Job Description
Design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity controls to protect systems, detect threats early, and respond effectively to incidents while improving organizational security posture.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Harden systems against known vulnerabilities
- Detect and respond to threats promptly
- Maintain compliant security monitoring coverage
- Reduce critical incidents through remediation
- Improve security posture with continuous assessments
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint security, and incident response
- Knowledge of network security, Windows/Linux security, and threat models
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM) preferred
- SIEM (Splunk, QRadar)
- Threat detection & hunting
- Incident response & forensics
- Vulnerability management (Nessus, Qualys)
- Cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Secure scripting (Python/Bash)
- Analytical thinking
- Problem solving under pressure
- Clear technical communication
