The goal is to minimize unexpected breakdowns, which directly impact project delivery, and ensure all safety standards (e.g., OSHA) are met. Given the fast-paced, custom nature of event fabrication, this role requires a blend of hands-on technical repairs and strategic planning to support project deadlines.

• Breakdown Management: Actively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems issues to minimize downtime.
• Facility Upkeep: Manage the maintenance of the workshop building, including lighting, HVAC, electrical systems, and compressed air systems.
• Expansion projects: Manage future expansion projects for the workshop
2. Team & Project Leadership
• Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor maintenance staff/technicians.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external contractors for specialized, heavy, or emergency repairs.
• Inventory Control: Maintain an inventory of essential spare parts and tools, managing procurement to ensure critical items are in stock.
3. Safety & Compliance
• Safety Standards: Create a high-priority safety work environment, enforcing all health and safety rules (OSHA/local regulations).
• Inspections: Conduct daily or weekly facility walkthroughs and routine equipment inspections to identify potential hazards.
4. Administration & Budgeting
• Budget Management: Create and adhere to the annual maintenance budget, including CapEx projects.
• Documentation: Record and track maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

• Fabrication Equipment: Direct experience with CNC routers, laser cutters, woodworking machines, and metalworking equipment (welding/cutting).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and motivate workers.
• Skills: Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in mechatronics engineering.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
