Senior Fashion Designer

A Multinational Fashion House is hiring a Senior Fashion Designer join their team in Beirut -Lebanon.

Responsibilities

• Work on the design process from concept development, sketching and detailed drawings to final samples.
• Conduct research and trend forecasting to ensure alignment with brand identity, vision, and customer needs.
• Develop detailed mood boards based on specified collection themes, color palettes, fabric selections, and technical sketches.
• Supervise junior designers and follow-up on progress to meet pre-established deadlines.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.
• Participate in fittings and provide direction on adjustments.
• Ensure timely delivery of design packages, technical details, and production-ready files.
• Liaise with sourcing and production teams to ensure fabric and trim selections align with cost and availability.
• Present design concepts and mood board to internal teams like Sales, Marketing and Communications Departments.
• Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and competitor activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in fashion design, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Previous Experience in designing for similar Luxury brands (Couture, Ready to Wear, Bridal…)
• Strong portfolio showcasing both creative design skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Word processing and email software or similar design tools.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, textiles, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
• Acceptance to Travel as per the business need.
