About Trivandi

Trivandi was formed in 2013 by the leadership team that planned, delivered and operated the 120+ venues of the London 2012 Games.

Their mission was to share their knowledge and learnings from London 2012 to help the industry to keep growing, evolving and improving, whilst protecting our beautiful planet.

About Trivandi Academy  

Trivandi Academy, part of the Trivandi family, is dedicated to building a stronger, more sustainable global major events sector through world-class professional development, research, and knowledge sharing. 

Launched in May 2024, the Academy was created to address pressing challenges in the industry: better support for professionals at every career stage, globally recognised qualifications and standards, improved wellbeing, and more effective knowledge transfer between major events. 

Our mission is to lead in learning and development by delivering expert-led, certified training, tailored programs, leadership development, mentoring, and industry insights. About the Role 

We are looking for an exceptional leader to shape the future of one of the most groundbreaking academies in sport, events and live entertainment. 

 

As Director of Trivandi Academy, you will lead a pioneering global initiative, developing strategy, driving business development, and being the face of the Trivandi Acaddemy in a number of markets. You will manage client relationships, providing learning innovation and capability building services across major events. Products and services provided by you and your team will include strategy, in-person and digital product development, executive coaching, workforce and volunteer training, company culture and values, and advising on flagship training venues in KSA.  

 

Trivandi Academy delivers products and services to external clients, with a focus on capability-building, cultural transformation, and knowledge transfer across organisations, mega-events, and much, much more - ensuring a lasting human legacy that transforms futures across the industry. 

As a sector leader, you will play a key role in setting and executing strategy, growing the business, and delivering exceptional client outcomes for us internationally and, with a particular focus on KSA.  You will lead the strategy of delivering outstanding work in a uniquely creative, people-centred way to our clients.

At Trivandi, all roles are broad and flexible, but here’s a flavour of where you’ll focus your time: 

 

Strategic Leadership 

Define and deliver the overall vision and strategic roadmap for the Trivandi Academy including: 

  • Academy Leadership & Strategy 
  • Business development, market foothold and client relationships 
  • IP Development including Digital and In-Person Learning Products
  • Learning Programme Delivery 
  • Workforce & Volunteer Training 
  • Executive Coaching 
  • Company Culture & Team Values 
  • Bids and Bid Support 
  • Training Facilities (Internationally and in KSA) 

Collaborate with Trivandi’s leadership to integrate Academy activity with wider strategic goals. 

 

Commercial & Business Development 

  • Be accountable for the commercial performance of Trivandi Academy, including revenue, profitability, and long-term growth. 
  • Lead go-to-market planning for digital products and coaching offers, with robust pricing models. 
  • Support high-impact bids through capability and training strategies, positioning the Academy as a differentiator in our offers. 

 

Programme & Product Delivery 

  • Lead on the development of L&D IP and the delivery of programmes 
  • Oversee where required or collaborate and support with the creation and delivery of digital learning assets and capability frameworks (e.g. ME101). 
  • As a team, ensure the high-quality, scalable delivery of workforce and volunteer training across regions and programmes. 
  • Embed a data-informed approach to learning outcomes and engagement impact. 

 

Client Engagement & Executive Development 

  • Build strategic relationships with clients, oversee programme delivery, quality assurance and client satisfaction on all projects  
  • Represent Trivandi Academy in industry forums, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships. 

 

Internal Culture & Academy Operations 

  • Embed Trivandi’s values and leadership behaviours across all Academy-led activity. 
  • Drive internal engagement through culture campaigns, learning opportunities, and executive development aligned to business priorities. 
  • Lead the establishment and growth of physical training facilities in KSA, in partnership with the local team. 

 

Team Leadership 

  • Build and lead a creative, high-performing team with subject matter expertise across learning, digital, coaching, and operations. 
  • Be an active member of the Strategy and Directors Groups, shaping business-wide conversations.

Personal Skills and Experience 

  • Significant experience leading Consultancy in a global or KSA based Management Consultancy 
  • Achieved significant revenue and profitability success providing Consultancy and programs globally 
  • A strong commercial mindset and proven ability to grow a business or consultancy offer 
  • Extensive experience globally and specifically in the KSA and MENA Region 
  • A track record of leading on or delivering complex people or transformation programmes with measurable outcomes 
  • Excellent client relationship and business development skills 
  • Senior level financial literacy and experience managing P&L 
  • Arabic Speaker preferred (Fluent – Written & Spoken) 
  • Outstanding presentation, writing and influencing skills 
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) ideally within Learning & Development or Organisational Development
